Isaac is a native New Yorker and God has given him a heart for New York City.  He is an ordained minister of the gospel and has been serving as a pastor since 2004.  Isaac is joyfully married to his beautiful wife, Jane, and they are blessed with 5 lovely children.  He and his wife love having people over their home and often find themselves praying with and for them. 

One of Isaac’s favorite Bible passages comes from Jeremiah 17:7-8 because it highlights that fruitfulness is not dependent upon circumstance, but on our trust in the Lord. 

Isaac enjoys going out on dates with his wife, visiting new places with his family, watching sports and good movies/shows, and grabbing good food with people.

Jane grew up in Flushing.  In the early 90’s, she witnessed her father, who was a pastor, shared the Gospel not just to Koreans but to people of different ethnicities, and partnered up and worshiped with a local Spanish-speaking church. Her father planted and pastored a church in Flushing before he was called home to be with the Lord. In a small way, Jane is continuing her father’s legacy in planting a church and doing God’s kingdom work. One of her favorite Bible verses is Psalms 46:10. She has witnessed and experienced her heavenly Father move in unexpected and powerful ways. Ever since she was a young girl, she has been praying for people of NYC to come to saving faith in Christ.

 

Jane is joyfully married to Isaac and they have 5 lovely children. During the week, she works as an elementary school teacher, teaching music.  Jane enjoys traveling with her family, eating good food and taking naps.

One scripture that stands out to her in this specific moment is Romans 8. She feels this whole chapter is truly an encouragement to her and for all believers, but verses 1, 35, and 38-39 really stand out. “I believe God is taking me through a season of receiving His love and having a greater understanding of the freedom the Gospel has given me. Through Christ, I am free from condemnation and the power of sin, and I am able to experience the depth of God’s great love. I pray that you all reading this bio will experience the freedom that comes through Jesus, in Jesus’s name. One fun fact about me is my favorite color is yellow, and I think that color also describes my personality.”

Dadé is grateful for the privilege of knowing God through Christ. Growing up in NYC, she is 1 of 8 Children to Nigerian parents. She has learned to see the Love of Christ in every situation and hopes to share that with those God brings along her path.

One of her favorite Scriptures is found in Ecclesiastes 3:14 and serves as a reminder that the purpose of everything (good or bad) that happens in life is always to the Glory of God.

She can recite the entire script of the original version of The Lion King by heart.
